The Cry of the Thiest and the Response of the Athiest

The theist cries:  ‘who am I Lord, to ask for a miracle or a sign’?

The atheist responds proudly  by demanding that we are more than worthy, and in fact God owes it to us to give us a clear sign if he wants us to believe in Him.  It is our birth right!

  1. Wow, that’s amazing . . . ly dumb. It’s like a five-year-old throwing a tantrum because nobody will let him play with an atom bomb.

If the atheist got off his high-horse and beyond his childish perception of God as an old man with a long white beard and actually thought about what kind of Being it would take to create a universe more than 13 billion light-years across and containing somewhere around 200 billion galaxies with 200+ billion stars apiece . . . well, he might understand why the theist doesn’t think that he is worthy of treating this Creator like a cosmic magician that we have a right to demand entertaining tricks of.

    Shalom.
